Henley River Lodge is a self catering lodge on the banks of the Klip River
The layout of the house is ideal for entertaining or relaxing, and the lounge/dining area is air conditioned, has a welcoming fireplace (with unlimited stock of wood available) and if you need it underfloor heating too (Henley can get very cold in winter).
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas-electric stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and all utensils and crockery. There is a portable stainless steel charcoal barbeque available.
Henley-on-Klip is a safe and picturesque village, just 50km south of Johannesburg. Activities in the area
include cycling (road and mountainbiking), hiking (Suikerbossrand is 15km away), diving (at Bass Lake 1km away),
canoeing or kayaking on the Klip River from your doorstep, and there are numerous coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.

Oak View Manor is a stately old Cape Dutch styled guesthouse in Heidelberg and offers comfortably furnished rooms for stopovers or guests visiting the area.
The guesthouse offers guests the lovely Red Room that is situated on the first floor of the main house and can accommodate 2 people. The room is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom. A TV with DStv, Wi-Fi access, a desk, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, are provided in the room.
There are 3 charming suites located in the courtyard of the beautiful 100-year-old main house: The Teal Suite, The Pink Suite, and The Blue Suite. Each of which is a private, spacious en-suite room with a small kitchenette with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, basic cutlery and a table with 2 chairs. There is a desk if guests need to work, free Wi-Fi, a tTv with full Dstv channels and a large wardrobe. Guests can prepare something for themselves or order something from the restaurant to eat there or in the room.
Guests can enjoy delicious meals and freshly-ground coffee at the on-site restaurant, Her Majesteas Salon, which is located under a 100-year-old oak tree. Braai facilities, as well as a firepit, is available for guests to use.
Guests to Heidelberg can visit the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve which offers a variety of hiking trails, as well as attractions such as the Heidelberg Transport Museum, and the grave of the airship inventor, Count Heinrich von Zeppelin, in the local cemetery. The Discovery Park Run takes place every Saturday morning about 5 km away on Silver Oaks Farm.
