“We have been going to Molly’s for special occasions. Not ever were we disappointed! You have a choice to sit on the patio, outside under the trees or inside this hundred year old house. We always choose to dine outside in the garden. Attentive waiter, service sometimes a bit slow, but drinking our wine makes up for that. Food is beautifully presented they really go that extra mile to make your visit as nice as possible. Three cheers to Gareth, the best waiter ,the good service and the lovely ambience !!!!! Tonight I had my first lockdown take-away in almost 7 weeks. A massive gourmet burger from Molly’s restaurant. Wow, what an awesome treat. The size was much too big for me, and if you compare what I got compare to some other take-away burgers and the price thereof, this was really one big, tasty, made with love cost effective burger. It had enough of everything on it. Thank you Molly’s, we will definitely do it again soon. A lovely restaurant complimenting our lovely town. Thank you Eugene and Molly’s staff.

Breakfast menu is small but they are accommodating to requests for additions/changes. Food made fresh. Fantastic pizza menu. Service is excellent. Good for small groups. Large groups book in advance.

We had a family dinner last night at Molly's Speakeasy and we were seated at a table of 9 inside because there was light rain. We go there often but usually for lunches and we sit outside in the beautiful garden and watch the kids run around and play. Last night the kids ordered pizza's and I had a taste of all 3 different kinds, absolutely delicious with a crispy base and juicy, delectable toppings. For starters, my husband and I shared the chicken livers and I didn't want to have too much so as not to spoil my appetite for my main (the Rib Eye Steak!!!), but after popping one of those soft, tasty livers into my mouth, I just couldn't stop and I regretted not having ordered my own starter because sharing is not so much fun when it's so dam yummy. Whilst we were having our wine, delightful conversation with much laughter included, a group of little kids who were all dressed up (so cute) on a scout's outing, visited Molly's for a 'history tour' of the building and milkshake. I followed the scouts to listen as the owner showed them around and explained the rich history of the beautiful home of Molly which is now transformed into the most stunning heritage restaurant with so many old artifacts, framed original newspaper clippings on the walls dated back to the 1940's, and a myriad of colorful decor bits and bobs that all come together to make you feel so at home its completely cosy.However, having said all of this, my absolute highlight of the evening was our main meal. My husband and I both ordered the Rib Eye Steak, luckily not to share this time! The steaks we sizzling hot, melt in your mouth, juicy, medium rare just as we love it and it was a whopping portion which, due to the sumptuous taste, we were pleased at the size because we filled our bellies until we practically rolled out of there feeling unbelievably satisfied. It was such an amazing meal, fabulous owner who regularly checked in on our table for a little giggle about something or the other, competent friendly staff and an overall exceptional ambiance.I can't wait to come back to Henley on Klip again, just so that we can eat at Molly's Speakeasy.Joy and Nick Conradie

When you go to Molly's you know you'll leave in a good mood. Sure the food is divine, the place is gorgeous, and the giant trees in the spacious garden are unbeatable, but what gives Molly’s Speakeasy it's unique spice and flavour, is Eugene, the hands-on owner. He makes every table feel like they are the most, most, 'mostest' VIP guests in the entire place. How he does it I do not know. It's his unique off-beat sense of humour and sharp wit that makes you laugh right from your deliciously full belly. Course after course. Well done to him and his team.

What a delightful experience we had! We drove from Heidelberg for our wedding anniversary and was pleasantly surprised with the gem that we weren't aware of! Eugene (the owner) made us feel as if we are his special guests, our food was divine and the setting is really beautiful. We will definitely visit again!

Wonderful little cottage with a rustic feel.Food is brilliant, you may wait a little bit but it's worth the wait. Enjoy the outdoor scenery while you wait.Thanks Molly's for a great experience. Wil be seeing us again.

The food and venue was superb, unfortinately the service sucked. We waited more than an hour after ordering for our food. It seemed lile the waiters just vanished into thin air for 30 minutes at a time...

What an amazing evening I and my family had at Mollys Speakeasy. I’m South African but live in the UK. I came back for a holiday to see my family/friends and we decided to go to Mollys Speakeasy. The food was super divine. Fresh and cooked beautifully. The atmosphere and ambiance was really inviting and relaxing and the staff are so informative, helpful and happy. It’s really is a wonderful little gem infused with great history, beautiful nature, scrumptious food and fantastic presence with everyone that works there. The owner Eugene and his staff have really made this place a magical spot to enjoy. It feels like home and is definitely a favourite of mine. Can’t wait to come back.

Awesome setting and good management. Meat dishes superb, gardens picturesque, has wood oven pizza and kiddies menu. Ample parking. Potato wedges delicious, beatiful clean toilets. Only area for improvement was what I thought slightly stale hamburger bun and waffle. Will definitely give them another visit.

Food is excellent, service needs some attention but then when you in good company, then it is not an issue. Perfect romantic setting or a place to relax and enjoy good food.

I had a delightful experience here. Very peaceful, quiet and serene place with friendly staff. I was taken into the house to have a look at its heritage. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Great venue, we had a very special birthday lunch there and enjoyed ourselves.The staff were lovely but unfortunately the service was not good... very slow and we waited a long time for drinks and food. Such a pity.

Such a unique experiencw and restaurant. An old house renovated into a restaurant with all the antique elements still present. Friendly staff with excellent service. A good feeling place with a cool history to the place.

The little restaurant is too beautiful, the building is 100 years old, we had the privilege of chatting to the owner, who is actively involved in clientele satisfaction. We had a table for two in the garden, the feeling of tranquility within our busy lives was amazing. The food was elegantly presented and tasted first class. I would definitely visit the restaurant again.

Lovely atmosphere.But mixed reviews at our table regarding our meal. People enjoyed the steak, Cajun chicken salad and malva pudding. But the gourmet chicken burger and cheesecake was just average.
